On what basis is the star rating of a hotel is decided?

 

When you are planning a trip, you must select a hotel that suits your budget. Most hotels will offer a bed and a comfortable room and moreover not all the hotels provide en suite bathroom. These are determined by the type of hotel you choose and the location. Before you start searching for a hotel, do some research about the star ratings, and this will helps to find the best hotel which suits your budget.

Star ratings differ from country to country, it was not the same. For example, a five-star hotel in Pakistan is equal to the three-star hotel in India.

The basic rule is, a five-star hotel should offer sheer luxury with first-class service and a wide range of facilities and services. The services must include a restaurant, pool, spa, bar and more.

Four-star hotels are more deluxe and it offers good rooms or suits. Also, it offers a restaurant, bar, pool, and gym. Even their services are good and excellent, but it lost one star because it doesn’t offer some special facilities. There is some lag in luxuries compared with five-star accommodations.

Three stars hotels

are mostly preferred by us because which mostly suits our budget and the three-star hotels in India are equal to the five-star hotel in Srilanka. Here you can expect clean and comfortable accommodations. Different room types, limited facilities, and services are offered in three-star hotels and you can feel good customer service.
